I am thinking of you all, from the artists we have worked with, to our audiences, to our supporters, and our team, and my spirit and my heart is with you in this incredibly challenging and heartbreaking time. Like everyone, National Sawdust has been hit hard by this crisis, and we’re in a place to imagine a new reality, and a new future. We are committed to reopening in the fall, and we firmly believe that these challenges will only strengthen the resolve and resiliency of our artistic community, and New Yorkers at large.

While we pause our traditional programming until the fall, we are excited to announce Live@NationalSawdust, a digital home for the voices and work of the artists we’ve been lucky enough to host over the past 5 seasons in our Williamsburg venue. 

The platform will offer concerts from the past five seasons and professional development programs from Renée Fleming, Meredith Monk and others.

Live@NationalSawdust will feature weekly releases from our archive of live performances. Free for all audiences across the globe, we bring the joyful, profound, and transformative art of music to connect us and foster community at this extraordinary time.  We also plan to work with educators to offer our Jazz for Kids program and related content to teachers and school children at this time of remote learning.
